The entrance to Lake Floria is at the far southern end of Faron Woods. To open it you need to raise a Skyward Strike in front of it and then draw a circle where one is missing. This complete design can be found by the Viewing Platform on the ground in the far north if you need a reference.

To find the Kikwi Elder, you need to head up the sandy slope south of Machi’s location. There is a Deku Baba sitting in the middle of this slope, but you can easily avoid it by running up the right-hand of the slope.
