Nothing makes you swing faster as attack speed is based on the weapon used. Assuming you meet all weapon req’s, a Shotel will always have the same speed which will always be faster than the large club but slower than a dagger.

Why am I so slow Dark Souls?
The closer your current weight gets to your total possible, the more you slow down. This does not include weapon swinging speed, but only running and rolling/backstepping. Increasing your stamina stat increases your total possible weight. Your character’s mobility comes in increments.
