To acquire a dragon shout, or to strengthen an existing shout:
- Discover and approach a word wall to learn a word of power.
- Unlock the word by selecting or hovering over it, and pressing R (PC), (Xbox), or. (PS3).
- Over the course of the main questline, you will learn 15 words of power from several characters.

Lastly, I have discovered that DRAGON WALLS don’t necessarily give you a SPECIFIC WORD, as different words have been acquired at the same Dragon Wall in the same place.
How do you get dragon shouts in Elder Scrolls?
