Attach the import bus to any block containing items and feed it into the network via ME cable. By default, it will pull all items in that unit back into the ME network. This does not affect items that were put into units such as furnaces.
What does a storage bus do?
The ME Storage Bus, when attached to another inventory block in the world lets you access that inventory via networked functions. This allows you to use chests, barrels, or other types of item storage in your networks.
How do I lock my storage monitor?
To lock and unlock a monitor, simply shift + right-click it with a wrench such as the prototype omniwrench. This locks the item on the monitor and keeps it from being replaced, and with upgraded machines grants the ability to right-click the machine and take up to a full stack of that item from the network.
Can you pipe items into an ME system?
You can use it to pipe items into and out of the ME network(depending on mod you have to set the Interface to stock the items). Several mods will even use the ME Interface as a “compatibility bridge”, like Logistics Pipes that allow two way sharing of resources and one way sharing of crafting setups.
Can a storage bus interact with a me interface?
If you place a storage bus on an ME Interface the storage bus will be able to interact with the full conents of the target network, unless that interface is configured to store items inside itself, in which case it will see those stored items. * Storage Buses ignore input/output sides for DSUs, Barrels, and Digital Chests.
Is the Me storage bus an import or export bus?
In practice, the ME Storage Bus operates with qualities of both the ME Import Bus and ME Export Bus, though lacking the automatic insertion & extraction that these buses offer.
What should I do if my AE bus is not working?
Start with just a drive+bus+terminal and see if that works, if not your AE installation is broken. If that works start rebuilding other features of your main net, like the controller, the length of cables, other devices on the same subnet (you don’t have to connect them to any machines, just the AE stuff).
