This darkness causes the illumination level in the area to drop one step, from bright light to normal light, from normal light to dim light, or from dim light to darkness. Nonmagical sources of light, such as torches and lanterns, do not increase the light level in an area of darkness.
How do you beat magical darkness?
If you want a way to dispel Darkness, here’s a couple:
- Dispel Magic.
- Daylight (“If any of this spell’s area overlaps with an area of darkness created by a spell of 3rd level or lower, the spell that created the darkness is dispelled.”)
Does Darkvision work in low-light?
Characters with Low-Light Vision can see as far as they would be able to during the day, and Characters with darkvision are limited by their darkvision range. Anything beyond that is essentially darkness as well.
How far can a human see in dim light Pathfinder?
