Tough basically gives you hit points equal to twice your current level in addition to 2 additional hit points for every level thereafter. What this means is tough gives you 40 hit points over the course of 20 levels. If you get it at level 1, you get 2 hit points at the beginning.
Can you take tough multiple times 5e?
Yes, though it’s generally a bad idea to do so. The reason is that the various toughness enhancements are all unlocked the first time the feat is taken. For builds that really need hit points, you can justify several takings of the feat, but otherwise you may want to just stick with one.
Can you take a feat more than once?
By rule from the PHB: You can take each feat only once, unless the feat’s description says otherwise. You would need to homebrew feats to achieve what you are trying to do.
What are the benefits of the durable feat?
One of the benefits of the Durable feat is the following: When you roll a Hit Die to regain hit points, the minimum number of hit points you regain from the roll equals twice your Constitution modifier (minimum of 2). {PHB, p. 166, emphasis mine} Does that mean the minimum you can roll on the dice is twice your Constitution modifier?
How does the durable feat work in RuneScape?
The extreme case is any character with 20 Con and therefore +5 bonus. If they have a d10 or d12 Hit Die, it still kind of works, though the d10 character always gets their maximum from ‘the roll’, plus their 5 bonus = 15.
What are the starting stats for durable feat?
So I was looking over feats tonight to get my Human Fighter to have a starting stats of 16/14/16/10/10/8 or so, and found Durable as a feat. But I’m a little confused by the wording of the second part of the feat.
What is the minimum number of hit points for the feat dndnext?
The feat reads: “When you roll a Hit Die to regain hit points, the minimum number of hit points you regain from the roll equals twice your Constitution modifier (minimum of 2).” To me, this reads that when I roll a d10 for Hit Die during a short rest, the minimum result of the die becomes 2x your Con Mod.
