Out of combat, the Inquisitive is great at finding clues, traps, and other such hidden things. Additionally, they’re great to have around if you find yourself playing a game with lots of intrigue. With their observational abilities, Inquisitive Rogues are great at telling if someone is attempting to lie to them.

This is good. Especially if you plan on using this archetype in a traditional dungeon-crawler campaign.
Which is better steady eye or inquisitive Rogue?
Insightful Fighting is great for an archer targeting the back line. Drop those wizards plinking your fighters. And as a Rogue, you have very little to do with your Bonus Action besides Cunning Action or offhand attacks. Steady Eye almost guarantees you’ll never be caught in a trap when walking carefully.
Is the inquisitive Rogue a tad op?
Overall, its really useful for a solo rogue type, but in a normal group, it is quite rare for the rogue to not have a sneak attack target, though sometimes they need to pick a different target to have the bonus. It seems if anything pretty weak in combat.
