Can acid splash melt locks?
A strong acid like Nitric will certainly dissolve most metals, but it’s not like it just melts immediately under application, especially at room temperature. I’d say at least 30 minutes at room temp assuming constant exposure of the lock to acid.

Neither of them have tails, giving one to Dragonborn seems fair enough. A Sorcerer of that bloodline grows wings at 14th level. It would be fair enough to give Dragonborn the same.
