As each ghoul needs one blood per month to maintain their ghoul status that’s a limit of about thirty ghouls for a vampire that devotes about half their waking time to maintaining their little army.
Can ghouls soak lethal?
Ghouls are immune to Delirium and can soak bashing damage, but they can soak lethal damage unlike other mortals. As long as a ghoul has vitae in his body, he does not age.
Can ghouls become vampires?
They are chaotic evil in alignment. Within the Vampire: The Masquerade and Vampire: The Requiem roleplaying games, ghouls are humans fed vampire blood. While they aren’t vampires, this allows them to use several of their powers, and they do not age.

Yes they can be embraced. There’s a Thaumaturgy ritual in which the vampire binds one of their blood points to a subject so that if the subject dies they will automatically be embraced on the spot. I did once have a Tremere with that set up on their ghoul.

How many points of Vitae does a ghoul have?
This vitae osmotically permeates the body without the need for draining the ghoul’s human blood. This conversion continues at the rate of one Blood Point per night, until the ghoul holds a full 10 points of vitae.
How much blood can a ghoul hold in a cylinder?
The total blood volume for an adult ghoul, if poured into a graduated cylinder for measure, would still be ten points’ worth, just as for a mortal or high-generation vampire, regardless. How many blood points does an elder ghoul have?
Elder ghouls who are not revenants may also gain additional Blood Points beyond their 10, but at the rate of one per two centuries of life (so an 850-year-old ghoul has a Blood Pool of 14, 10 which can be drunk without bloodletting).
How much slashing damage does a ghoul take?
Hit: 7 (2d4 + 2) slashing damage. If the target is a creature other than an elf or undead, it must succeed on a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or be paralyzed for 1 minute. The target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
