No, killing all the guards itself does not trigger the alarm, but you need to answer a pager every time you kill or subdue a guard. Your team can only answer four pagers successfully. The fifth pager will always fail causing an alarm.
How does killing a guard raise the alert level?
As mentioned above, killing guards raises the alert level by a relatively small amount compared to other actions during the Heist. Many guards are also positioned on the other sides of doors, letting you choose whether to aggro them or not even, regardless of whether you have minions.
Why do I keep alerting the guards but not sure why?
I sprint everywhere – through active cameras, right up to walking or stationary guards, near to two enemies facing and talking to one another, etc, and I’ve never had the alarm raised or guards suspicious as a result. Normally I only kill 1-4 people in the Compound too.
Can You farm Infinite guard while the alarm is going?
Yes, but you can’t farm the infinite guard spawns while the alarm is going because they stop providing experience and items once a certain number have been generated by that spawner.
