How does the breath weapon work in Dragonborn?
The Dragonborn breath weapon has this line: “You can use your action to exhale destructive energy.”. This makes it an action, but it’s not an Attack action. Two weapon fighting starts with “When you take the Attack action”, which means it can’t be used with miscellaneous actions (not even actions that actually provide weapon attacks).
What does extra attack mean in Dragonborn’s breath?
Extra Attack says you can attack twice, instead of once, when you use the Attack Action. Abilities/features that grant extra actions, such as Fighter’s “Action Surge” can do that, but Extra Attack only increases the number of attacks you can make, not the number of Actions you can take.

Can a breath weapon be used as an extra attack?
