Moon druids are probably the strongest class in the game… At lvl 2. Wild shape quickly loses much of its combat tanking viability by lvl 5. If you try to tank as a bear or a wolf at lvl 5 you are going to revert the round you transform, as your ac is low and enemies do alot of damage.
