Mending fixes gaps and tears, it doesn’t reinforce materials. As a dm for my game i would say that it could as long as the person using the cantrip has a Transmutation background or has the alchemists tools. RAW no.

How big does a mending Cantrip need to be?

The description of the mending cantrip says: This spell repairs a single break or tear in an object you touch, such as a broken chain link, two halves of a broken key, a torn cloak, or a leaking wineskin. That said, in 5e, the DM has the prerogative to approve or disapprove skills, abilities and spell effects, even outside the bounds of RAW. If your players give you some stellar roleplaying that convinces you that the Mending cantrip worked, then allow it, but you’ll also want tell them “just this once” or something to that effect.

What are the limits of the spell mending?

There are limits, by design, to the Mending cantrip. By RAW, it wouldn’t work on the rusted warhammer because it’s not a tear or break. As for the cloak, that’s permissible, but not by a single casting. Each tear would require it’s own casting.

Is there a cantrip for mold Earth 5e?

Mold Earth 5e is something of an odd-ball. That comes down to a few variables. Cantrips can be cast repeatedly without spell slots. The fundamental limitation of cantrips is time and chance. Some consequences of cantrip 5e Mold Earth are permanent. Transfer Earth’s targets are common in most game settings; loose earth and gems (for some effects).
