So Tomb of Levistus (TOL) can be a lot of fun: – For starters, lets blow up your warlock. A fiend pact Warlock can cast Fireball on themselves in the middle of a group of enemies and then TOL to absorb the damage. Spells like Shatter would also work.

It’s not a type of action. The type of action consumed by an eldritch invocation will depend on the invocation. Like if it allows you to cast a spell at will, you look at the spell to see what kind of action the spell requires.

Can you still move with tomb of Levistus?
Clearly, Tomb of Levistus is a magical effect, so RAW I’d say you can still move. However, in my opinion, it makes no sense at all that you would be able to move and still gain all the other benefits from Tomb of Levistus, just because of one mid-level spell.
Is the Warlock just under powered-Warlock class forums?
Warlocks are relatively underpowered if your DM tends to have only a couple encounters per adventuring day, allowing long rest classes to use spells from their top 2-3 levels every turn. On the other hand, if you have multiple short rests per day, the warlock gains significant ground and can overtake them in more extreme cases.
