Is ff14 tab targeting?

Im really enjoying it and think it’s a great game. Now here comes oen of the big “however”, the tab targeting here is horrendous. In WoW it starts with the closest enemy, in FFXIV it seems like it’s chosing targets randomly. This shouldn’t be too hard of an fix and would improve the gaming experience immensely.
