Keeping everyone alive is entirely possible with Level 9-10 Alistair, Morrigan, and Wynne, even on Nightmare difficulty. In this battle, a good offense is the best defense.
Can you leave Redcliffe before battle?
The village will be wiped out if you talk to Bann Teagen about the attacks, and then just leave before defending the village. You can enter and leave at will prior to talking with him, and at will after the event(Even if you don’t go into the castle), but not after talking to him and before the event.
Where is Owen’s daughter Dragon Age?
You’ll then find yourself on the castle’s main floor, where you’ll find the blacksmith’s daughter, a young woman named Valena. She can be found at the far end of the main floor from where you enter, in a small pantry. She’s hiding, so far successfully, from the evil cretins that have taken over the castle.
How do you get into Redcliffe Castle Dragon Age Origins?
After looting the fallen merchant’s corpse, you’ll find a letter, which will direct you to Redcliffe Village. You won’t be able to enter Redcliffe Village until you’re working on the In Hushed Whispers main quest. Once you’re there, you can freely confront Sister Tanner near the north end of the village.
What happens if you don’t go to Redcliffe first?
If you go to Redcliffe first, you have to stay or it will be destroyed. Only after you’ve done that and confronted Connor in the castle can you leave and go to the Circle. And yes, you will have to do the entire Circle quest and restore order to the Tower to get the mages help.
Is Valena dead?
Valena says that first the Arl became sick and they arrested someone for poisoning him. Then some started fighting each other and afterwards the corpses appeared. They didn’t attack the survivors unless they tried to flee the castle. So Valena managed to remain alive by hiding and waiting in the castle.
Can you save Valena?
Whatever the decision, Valena will run from the castle and can be found safely at Blacksmith’s Store. If Valena is not found by the time the situation with Connor is resolved, she will disappear from the castle and be counted as dead.
