The Telekinetic feat is relatively minor, just buffing your mage hand and giving a bonus action. This still is a vast increase in options and doesn’t quite stop your Ability Score improvement track. It’s a pretty cool buff! Give it a try if you want to maximize Mage Hand’s range and usefulness!
Does it take an action to move mage hand?
Mage Hand can only be moved if an action (or Bonus Action in the case of an Arcane Trickster) is used to control it. The relevant text of Mage Hand is: You can use your action to control the hand.
How far does mage hand reach?
30 feet
You can move the hand up to 30 feet each time you use it. The hand can’t attack, activate magic items, or carry more than 10 pounds.
How fast can you move mage hand?
2.5 feet per second per move action. Which means that the object can move as long as you have enough Move Actions to move it. Regardless of how fast you think that move action is, it cannot be longer than the 6 seconds that is the duration of a Combat Round.
How do you use telekinesis 5e?
You gain the ability to move or manipulate creatures or Objects by thought. When you cast the spell, and as your action each round for the Duration, you can exert your will on one creature or object that you can see within range, causing the appropriate Effect below.
Can mage hand give advantage?
At 13th level, you gain the ability to distract targets with your mage hand. As a bonus action on your turn, you can designate a creature within 5 feet of the spectral hand created by the spell. Doing so gives you advantage on attack rolls against that creature until the end of the turn.
Can you cast and use Mage hand on the same turn?
Unlike, for example, Spiritual Weapon, Mage Hand doesn’t say anything about a free use on the turn you cast it, so it requires your action to cast it followed by your action on a subsequent turn to use it.
Can you touch mage hand?
Mechanically, no. A mage hand is a magical effect. It is limited to its description. It has no AC and no HP.
Can mage hand fire a gun?
Yes, assuming the crossbow is being held and aimed by someone or something else. The stat block for Mage Hand says: You can use the hand to manipulate an object, open an unlocked door or container, stow or retrieve an item from an open container, or pour the contents out of a vial.
Can a druid turn into a dragon?
Some druids will be able to turn into a dragon in later levels. Wild Shape is a druid’s signature move. Druids get the ability to use Wild Shape when they reach second level. The animal they can transform into is determined by their current level.
