Yes that’s right you have to set up everything (registering game at uPlay and in game menu if you have additional DLC’s) and then you can play without uPlay. Also edited my post to make it more clear. I’ve managed to start the game without UPlay account creation and their TOS accepting by adding the “-offline” game launch parameter.
How big are the Uplay files on my PC?
Not until today. ALL of my games show that they have updates. When I go to update them, it says the updates are 30+GB in size (the size of the entire game). So, I pressed the button to locate the installed games, and showed Uplay the directory of the already installed games (all of which were there, and were their proper install sizes).
