How high can you upgrade Pyromancy Flame?
There are two levels of upgrades for the flame, the standard Pyromancy Flame and the ascended flame. The first one can be upgraded a total of 15 times by Laurentius, Quelana, or Eingyi. After this, players must travel to Blighttown to ascend and further upgrade the flame with Quelana.

The total duration of the spell consists of 101 ticks of HP loss unless the Lingering Dragoncrest Ring is equipped, which lowers this amount to 99 ticks. Power Within is a Self Buff and interferes with other such buffs (i.e. Great Magic Barrier, Green Blossom, Transient Curse, etc.).
Is Fire Whip good dark souls?
Fire Whip is semi-popular in PvP due to its high damage. No other pyromancy barring Chaos Fire Whip and the variants of Firestorm deal quite as much damage per second as Fire Whip, making it an excellent pyromancy to use against staggered or distracted opponents.
Can you get another Pyromancy Flame?
Only a maximum of two Pyromancy Flames can be acquired per playthrough as Laurentius won’t give the player his flame if their starting class is Pyromancer. This applies whether or not they picked up the Pyromancy Flame at the Undead Asylum. The second one is usually from Eingyi.

Your pyromancies will NOT become more powerful with increased intelligence. Damage only increases with Upgrades. The scaling does however, only affect the punch. Give to Frampt to receive 50 souls.
