Are the lessons on chess com worth it?
If you are ready to spend time watching and learning by listening to video lessons, chesscom Diamond is worth. If you can not spend time for it, you should buy Platinum or even Gold membership, that is sufficient for you. Lessons section are also amazing.

Does chess com give free lessons?
The Learn to Play Chess lessons are free for everyone. Gold members also get the From Beginner to Winner lessons, and platinum members get Think Like a Chess Player as well. Not counting those, gold members can take any three lessons per week, and platinum members get five lessons per week.
What can I do for free on chess com?
A free account comes with access to all of the following:
- Play unlimited chess, in all time settings, Daily, Rapid, Blitz and Bullet.
- Play chess variants, such as 4 player chess, bughouse, 3-check, and more.
