I was able to see Rust Creek at SDFF, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! It wasn’t too scary and had plenty of quiet, thoughtful moments. So it struck a nice balance between drama and action/thriller. I also love how much the environment played a part in the film, and how the Kentucky landscape is really featured.
