How big of a restore point do I Need?

Regularly created restore point has about 600MB, the other depend on the changes, like what was the size of windows updates being installed (like up to 2GB). I have mine set to 4GB, to able to restore the last change. It really comes down to how many restore points you want to be able have available, and how much disk space you can spare for them.

1. Open an elevated command prompt. 2. Type the command below you want to use into the elevated command prompt, and press Enter. (see screenshots below) This will list all shadow copies (restore points) on all or specific drives. You will see the volume drive letter and shadow copy ID number for each one.
