Barbarians come alive in the chaos of combat. They can enter a berserk state where rage takes over, giving them superhuman strength and resilience.
Can Barbarians take feats?
Feats are customizations that enhance characters and enable interesting concepts to come to life in D&D. Barbarians aren’t dependent on feats to make a mess. They enjoy solid class abilities right out of the box, so complimentary feats sweeten the deal.
Does rage make you immune to fear?
Immune to Fear and Incapacitate effects. Generating extra rage when taking damage.
Do barbarians have spells?
Barbarians have no innate self-healing or spellcasting abilities, but they have other means of survivability. For instance, barbarians can boost their damage reduction, gather magic gear (that can imitate useful spell effects), and raise defensive save scores to minimize the effects of incoming attacks.
Can you be feared when raging?
Beginning at 6th level, you can’t be charmed or frightened while raging. If you are charmed or frightened when you enter your rage, the effect is suspended for the duration of the rage.
Which is the best character for extra rage?
Has to be mentioned; humans are an excellent choice because of the bonus feat. Your first feat is almost-certainly going to be Extra Rage, but there are a lot of other feats you want ASAP. Depending on prestige class choice, human may be compulsory (only way to get all the feats you need on time). Goliaths are LA +1, which is kind of a bummer.

What kind of character makes a good barbarian?
Dwarves make fine barbarians, with their very-high Con and their bonuses on saving throws. The lack of a bonus feat hurts a lot early on, however. Dragonborn get additional Con, on top of whatever your race might give, which makes it an obviously-good choice for a barbarian.
How much damage can a barbarian do with mighty rage?
With Mighty Rage, your Barbarian can achieve a score of 30 for a total of 10 to AB and +10 to damage. With Weapon Focus, you can achieve an AB of 31 alone.
