There are currently 87 residential floors and 29 floors of each business type. Once you have all 232 unique floors, you can continue to build empty floors. We may add more floors in the future but do not have any plans at this time.
How do you get VIPs on Tiny Tower?
VIPs are special event Bitizens that randomly appear in the tower’s lobby. They grant bonuses or cut construction time when sent to a floor of the player’s choice! Keep an eye out for the red VIP notification in the bottom left in-game. They will only appear during active gameplay.

Just use Tower Bux to fill up a new floor as needed, and keep one or two open spaces in case someone does want to move in. You’ll probably earn 10 Bux in the time you’d wait for that random move-in.
