Why did mount Hotenow erupt?

Where is Gauntlgrym located?
Entry Points. Bruenor Battlehammer rediscovered Gauntlgrym through a cave entrance in a stony ravine in the Crags outside of Neverwinter. This entrance appear to be the closest to the city’s “front doors.”
