Locations. Slaadi were native to Limbo, but could be found throughout the Elemental Chaos and around the Supreme Throne. Known by the githzerai as Urkocl and by the Ysgardians as Slaadheim was the slaadi’s primordial home and center of dominion, referred to by them as the Spawning Stone.
Do Slaads have names?
True to their chaotic nature, they often do not appear anything like other Slaadi. Known slaad lords include Ygorl, Lord of Entropy; Ssendam, Lord of Madness; Chourst, Lord of Randomness; Rennbuu, Lord of Colors; and Wartle.
How do you fight a slaad?
Cloudkill is specifically for killing people the death slaad wants to kill. Like gray slaadi, death slaadi will prefer to use their greatswords rather than their claws in melee combat, and they’ll prefer to fight in their slaad form rather than their humanoid form, in order to include biting in their Multiattack.
How do you summon a Slaad?
When you cast this spell using certain higher-level spell slots you can summon a different type of slaad. You can summon a blue slaad using a 7th-level slot, a green slaad using an 8th-level spell slot, and a gray slaad with a 9th-level slot.
Can Slaad speak?
Although they natively speak only Slaad, they can use tongues to disguise their inability to speak the PCs’ language(s).
Can Slaad speak common?
(For one thing, they no longer speak Common or whatever other language their hosts spoke, only Slaad.) Only if their slaad-nature is discovered and called out will they resort to fighting. When a green slaad fights, its primary goal is not to kill its opponents but to escape.
What was the name of the grey slaadi?
Gray slaadi, sometimes spelt grey slaadi but also referred to as rift slaads or executioners, were green slaads that had undergone a magical metamorphosis. They were known as the executioners for their service to the malevolent death slaads, carrying out their demands on missions of doom.
