Classically, Clerics get their power from deities, but you are free to re flavor things however you want. It might be that this Cleric gets their powers from a deity of nature, who chose to give them their power, even though the Cleric doesn’t follow them.

Your choice of domain is the single most important decision that you will make when playing a cleric. Your domain determines not only your character’s central them as a divine spellcaster, but also your role on the battlefield.
Can you be a cleric without deity?
