What is happening to Webkinz?
Ganz, the company that owns the Webkinz brand, has announced that it will permanently delete all archived, inactive accounts on October 1st, 2019. If you’ve left your account inactive for more than a year and don’t log in by September 30th, your pet will be deleted forever.
Can Webkinz run without Flash?
Back in May 2019, we released the Webkinz Desktop App, and later in the year we released the Mac version. These versions did still use the Flash Player, just without a browser. We are pleased to announce that we will soon be releasing a NEW Desktop App that no longer uses Flash Player at all.
